ROLE:

Assessment Social Worker

To carry out assessments on applicant carers in London, in order to provide Lika Family Fostering with professional carers who are reflective, responsive and creative, who can offer love and support to looked after children.

Lika have developed an assessment matrix to support the match of applicant to agency, with key attributes being needed to ensure that a child experiences a safe and nurturing family environment

CONTRACT TYPE:

Sessional Worker – Set Rate

SALARY:

£2000 per assessment (plus travel expenses)

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None

ROLE:

Independent Foster
Care Review Officer

The post entails the planning, preparation and chairing of annual foster carer reviews. The completion of review reports and presentation to Lika Family Fostering Independent Fostering Panel. To co-ordinate and develop the reviewing service practice, policies and systems. To quality assure the practice, supervision and support of Lika foster carers.

CONTRACT TYPE:

Independent Consultant – Daily Rate

SALARY:

£250 – Full Day or £125 – Half Day

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None

ROLE:

Systemic Family Therapist

The post holder will work within a systemic framework in a small fostering agency, leading on the delivery of a therapeutic service to children, young people, and foster families.

The post holder will have relevant training and experience, and the ability to deliver a service to a diverse community.

The post holder will lead on identifying training needs and be part of the development and delivery of training programmes.

CONTRACT TYPE:

Subcontractor

SALARY:

£50/hr

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None

ROLE:

Support Worker

The support worker will support children, young people and their foster carers to achieve and maintain stability in their placements. The role will involve undertaking activities with the child/ young person to support needs identified within the placement plan. Support workers will use their time to ‘check in’ how children are experiencing their placement. This is to make sure they feel listened to and know their views influence service delivery and service development.

CONTRACT TYPE:

Subcontractor / sessional

SALARY:

£10 – £12.50 /hr
